Title: Pushing the Limits
Author: Katie McGarry
Publication: July 31, 2012
Publisher: Harlequin Teen
Rating: 4 out 5

Synopsis: No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.

Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.

Review: First off: drama isn't really my thing, and that's half of what this book is. The other half is romance... that part I liked. Echo (awesome name, right?) has no memory after a huge accident and her father / new step mother wont talk about it, so she tries to figure it out herself. Noah is the person she falls in love with. He has his own problems, such as finding a way to get his brothers back from an adoption. His parents were killed in an accident and he felt alone, therefore he was fighting for his two brothers (even though they live in a big house with amazing parents). I can understand his frustration a little... the boys called their step father "dad" which is always hard.

The writing in this book is amazing! The character development wasn't too fast or too slow, and the plot was interesting through out the whole book. It lost one star because the plot it DID get slow at some parts and I had to skip some pages, but otherwise it was fine. Since I'm not a drama type girl, I don't want to give a biased review. I'm constructing my review on how the book is written and the characters. Those two make a book no matter what genre.

Thank you for the review :)

Still haven't read this one yet, but I have it and I am looking forward to it. It is just very outside of my norm, so I have to find the right mood to give it a shot.
