On a cold day....any GOOD book is fine! Seriously.... the choices are endless....

I live in the northeast so I know cold!!! A good book, cup of tea and warm blanket helps!

Lucky for me it doesn't get too cold here in SW FL but I like to read historical or contemporary romance books.

My favorite type of books on ANY day are the Heroic Fantasy/Science Fiction stories. But do read just about anything and book that makes you feel grateful to be warm and cozy is a good book to read on a cold day.

My favorite type of book for a cold day is pretty much my favorite type for a hot day... a Horror Short Story anthology. "Daytime vs. Nighttime" might make a difference, but "Cold vs. Hot" really doesn't! Good question, though! Thanks for the giveaway.

On a cold day, I like to curl up on the sofa and read a nice old-fashioned mystery (Agatha Christie, Arthur Conan Doyle) or a fantasy book that sucks me into its world so I forget everything around me (like the Wheel of Time books did).

The weather where I live is never "that cold"nor "that hot" for me to select a special genre of book to read at the time....I pretty much read a lot of different kinds of books all year round..the only thing I do save is the books with a Holiday theme to read during the Holidays.
